Final Tally — Last updated: June 2nd, 2026
Final Tally is developed and published by Scattered Mind Apps, a brand of Scattered Mind Holdings LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Final Tally mobile application.
Final Tally is a mobile application designed to track scores, players, and statistics for board games and tabletop games.
We prioritize user privacy. The app does not require accounts, sign-ups, or personal information to function. The games, players, scores, and photos you create while using the app are stored locally on your device. We collect limited analytics, crash, and diagnostic data, and you can optionally send us game requests and issue reports, as described in the sections below.
Final Tally stores certain information locally on your device to provide core functionality, including:
This information is stored on your device using local storage mechanisms provided by the operating system. We do not transmit or store this data on external servers.
Profile photos are added through your device's camera or photo library using the standard platform permission prompt. Selected photos remain on your device and are not uploaded to us.
Locally stored data may be included in operating-system level device backups (such as Android Auto Backup or iCloud) according to your device settings. These backups are handled by the platform and are outside of our control.
If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, locally stored data may be permanently removed.
Final Tally uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve features and stability.
Analytics data may include:
This information is not linked to your identity. It does not include personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or account information, but it may include a pseudonymous identifier used to distinguish devices for analytics purposes.
Analytics processing may be handled by Google through Firebase Analytics. More information about Google's privacy practices can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Analytics and crash data are off by default. You are prompted on first launch to choose whether to enable them, and you can change your choice anytime under Settings → About.
Final Tally uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and errors so we can improve the app's stability.
When the app encounters a crash or error, Crashlytics may collect:
This data is used solely to identify and fix technical problems. It does not include personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Crash and diagnostic data is processed by Google through Firebase Crashlytics and may be retained in accordance with Google's data retention policies. More information about Google's privacy practices is available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Final Tally includes optional features that let you send information to us directly:
These features are optional and transmit information only when you choose to submit. The information is stored in a Google Sheets document that we use to review requests and fix issues. We do not attach your name, device identifier, or account information to these submissions. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in the descriptions you submit.
Final Tally may offer optional in-app purchases.
All purchases are processed through the platform provider, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not collect, process, or store payment information such as:
Payment information is handled exclusively by the platform provider in accordance with their privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Pseudonymous analytics information may be processed by third-party service providers, such as Firebase Analytics, solely for the purpose of improving app functionality and performance.
Because your gameplay data — games, players, scores, and photos — is stored locally on your device, we do not maintain centralized databases of that information.
Analytics and crash data collected through Firebase may be retained according to Google's data retention policies.
Game requests, issue reports, and feedback messages you submit are stored in a Google Sheets document and retained until they are no longer needed to review or act on them.
Final Tally is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the app does not require accounts or collect personally identifiable information, most data remains stored locally on the user's device.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data.
Final Tally does not maintain user accounts or store gameplay data on external servers. As a result, we may not have the ability to access or modify data stored locally on a user's device.
Users can delete locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the application.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents may have the right to request access to or deletion of personal information collected about them.
Final Tally does not sell personal information and does not collect personally identifiable information. Most data created while using the app remains stored locally on the user's device.
Pseudonymous analytics data may be processed by third-party services such as Firebase Analytics.
We take reasonable measures to protect user data. However, because most information is stored locally on the user's device, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date above.
